The dream of the Niverville Heritage Centre began with a small group of concerned citizens serving on Municipal Council for the Town of Niverville. In 2001, recognizing that Niverville was quickly becoming one of fastest growing towns in Manitoba it was also under-serviced in terms of quality healthcare services and appropriate housing for seniors.

Utilizing a former chicken eviscerating plant and hatchery , today the Heritage Centre is a not for profit community based corporation that is 80,00 square feet in size and is home to a Primary Healthcare Centre, Doctor’s office, Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, Dental Clinic, child care centre and a 36 suite Assisted Living and Supportive Care residence. In addition to all this, we have developed an incredible event centre that annually hosts more than 100 weddings and gatherings with more than 14,000 people attending annually.

In 2013 we expect to open our new personal care home facility and Bistro, expanding our complex to over 140,000 square feet in total size. The small dream has now become a huge reality. We in Niverville believe in partnerships and the incredible power to achieve that is generated when strong partnerships and a supportive community interact with hard work and good planning. We are truly blessed by these principals.
