Niverville Heritage Centre Campus Statement on Outbreak January 8, 2021 #3

This statement is being released to update our Residents, their families, our Team Members, Board Members, Stakeholders including our Town Council and CAO and SHSS Leadership.

As of today we have received confirmation that we have 2 cases. One is the Team Member reported earlier and 1 resident on Prairie Rose.

Presently all of the other residents that were tested had a negative result and staff are not showing symptoms.

January 11, 2021 we are expecting to open Designated Caregiver visits again. Please call the front desk at 204.388.5000 ext, 304 to arrange an appointment.

Our Team will be instructing all Designated Caregivers who enter for visits on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. This will be for all neighbourhoods. You will also be required to sign an agreement that if you refuse to wear the PPE or remove any part of the PPE in the neighbourhood or residents room your visitation rights will be cancelled.

At this time we will be providing PPE only for Prairie Rose. For Prairie Rose we will be providing family with proper gowns, masks and goggles. All other neighbourhoods will NOT require advanced PPE (goggles and gowns) at this time.

If you have any questions please contact the undersigned.
